Derek Wallace
As Mick Jagger - Lead Vocalist
(Tongue Pic)
The first album he ever bought was "Tattoo You" when he was 10, shortly after release. Next was "Hot Rocks", a double disc greatest hits compilation. "I obsessively began absorbing all their music and memorizing the lyrics. I started practicing all the moves I could find on TV, which was WAY trickier without the internet. After seeing "Let's Spend the Night Together" concert film in the theater, that essentially became my blueprint."
Derek grew up in the St. Louis region, which just happens to be the first city mentioned on the first song of the first Stones album in "Route 66". He lived close to some of the clubs Chuck Berry as well as Ike and Tina Turner would perform in on their way to worldwide fame. "I was fascinated that music that came right out of my backyard influenced my favorite band all the way across the ocean. That all felt very mystical to me. It still does."
Despite all the years of practicing, Derek never actually saw himself performing as Jagger. It took seeing other Stones tributes before he felt it was even an option. "As near and dear as the Stones are to me, I never thought I'd perform on stage as Mick, even though I badly wanted to know what that felt like. My heart was definitely already in it before I took it to the stage."

He even got to meet one of the Stones' backing vocalists in full costume. "I got a very sincere compliment from Benard Fowler on how well I had the whole vibe going. That was a HUGE vote of confidence coming from the guy who has sang with Mick in every show I've ever seen, all the way back to Steel Wheels in '89."

Concerning the upcoming shows scheduled:
"There's no other feeling like connecting with an audience and seeing them having a great time. I can't wait to get back on stage with my new friends in Gimme Shelter. It's gonna be a blast!".
Mark Wand
As Keith Richards - Guitar, Vocals
A PNW native, Mark Wand has a sonic palette that seemingly knows no bounds. He has produced and played 3 albums with Trick Deck which gained him a reputation as musical adventurist, creating a modern sound which led to performances locally, in the US and Europe. Currently he performs solo acoustic guitar in a variety of styles, solo hard rock act Metal Mark, records original Rock tunes under the moniker Sticky Pedals, and performs as Keith Richards in Gimme Shelter. Through the kaleidoscope of sound he still remains committed to Rock'n' Roll and the thrill of live performance. The full spectrum of music can be found at Wandmusic.com.
Albert Ceccacci
As Ronnie Wood - Guitar, Slide Guitar, Lap Steel, Vocals
Born in Italy and raised in Montreal, Canada, Albert Ceccacci is a versatile multi-instrumentalist who began playing guitar, bass, and drums — while also singing lead vocals — at just 15 years old. Over the years, he has performed with numerous bands across Canada and the United States, appearing in venues of every size and style.
One of Albert’s standout achievements was touring the U.S. with “Satisfaction – The International Rolling Stones Tribute”, where he took on the role of Ronnie Wood. The band gained national recognition, including a feature on CBS Sunday Morning, and became known as one of the most popular touring tribute acts in America.
Mike Howe
As Bill Wyman - Bass, Vocals
Mike is a 15-year veteran of Gimme Shelter and has been playing bass guitar for over 50 years. His love of music began as a very young age when he first heard The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show. He was hooked instantly and began collecting every album and piece of memorabilia he could find. From that moment on, he knew he was destined to be a bass player.
While many listeners focused on lead guitar and vocals, Mike found himself drawn to the bass lines and background harmonies. A few years later, his brother introduced him to The Rolling Stones, and he quickly added them to his list of favorite bands—eventually collecting all of their albums as well.
Over the years, Mike has played with several Pacific Northwest bands, including XTC, The Cutouts, and Quazi Modo. In April 2011, he saw the Rolling Stones tribute band Gimme Shelter perform at Jazzbones and thought, “How cool would it be to play with this band?” Just a week later, he was invited to join as one of their bass players, and took over full time shortly thereafter—and he’s been having the time of his life ever since, performing with a group that shares his passion for the timeless music of The Rolling Stones.
Michael Horan
As Chuck Lavell - Piano & Keyboard
Mike has been with Gimme Shelter for 14 years now, adding keyboards to this high energy band! Mike’s a California native, and has played in original and cover bands throughout the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years. Mike brings a huge catalog of songs and a great deal of style to every show.
Dan Moore
As Charlie Watts - Drums
“Originally from Boston, Daniel Moore started out on the drums at age 8. He initially studied jazz ensemble and was running Real Book charts under Dennis Sullivan and John Payne, giving his first live performance before he was 12. Playing mostly in rock bands through high school, Dan sought to blend his jazz roots with his rock experience into a totally unique, edgy, style that could appeal to wider audiences. He formed a progressive fusion band Kilgore Trout in college, an instrumental-only septet with a three-piece horn section as the lead voice. Kilgore Trout eventually moved to Seattle in the early 1990s and performed over the next eight years, receiving Best Electric Jazz Group Award by Earshot Jazz in 1995 and winning the Grammy’s Regional Showcase competition in 1996. Dan also became passionate about studio engineering and recording, eventually producing his bands’ albums and incorporating spoken word samples into the band’s repertoire. After Kilgore Trout disbanded in 2000, Dan started a jam band with some friends and also sat in with various performers and recording sessions. Dan’s biggest drumming influences have been Steve Gadd, Vinnie Coliuta, Bernard Purdie, Stewart Copeland, Trilok Gurtu, and Dave Weckyl just to name a few.”
Beth Bivens

Beth Bivens (Joanna), professional singer, classically-trained at the University of Washington and vocal jazz training with Soundsation Vocal Jazz, Northwest Vocalist.
